Who's got 4.7L Cams?
Believe it or not, other than idle I could not tell the difference between the H.O.s and the 206 until Hemifever started writing my tunes. Before my Supercharger he wrote me an aggressive tune for my 206 and it rocked. If your not planning on custom tuning go H.O. Cam. If you do go custom tune, 206.
You can contact hemifever and purchase an SCT tuner and he can custom write tunes for you based on what you have. I think you need to purchase and A/F Wideband sensor as well...Blown and Eric can give you more info.
Snip and Eric are right. When I went from HO to 206 cams I couldnt' tell a difference. When Hemifever wrote my 206 specific cam tune, holy crap they came to life. There are sales on SCTs right now, hemifever@aol.com
Hey guys,
For those of you that don't already know, Compcams has stopped making cams for the 4.7l. On the ********* site, Airram has started a campaign to get everyone emailing them asking them to start making them again. We're really going to need this to work, especially seeing as it looks like Dodge has also stopped production of their h/o cams.

This isn't good. The HO cams are used to regrind to make smaller cams i.e. 224, 212, 206. If the HO cams stop production, it could be ugly for the 4.7L performance world. Every fast 4.7L I know has a performance regrind cam or atleast an HO cam.
It wasn't like that when I posted. I guess they don't like other forum site names listed here. If you go to Airram's site (hope this doesn't get starred out) www.airram.com, at the bottom of the main page you can click on the comp cams banner, and then click it again on the next page, or just go to comp cams site, move your cursor over tech pages, then online cam help, and then click on contact us. Click the feedback link and let them know you don't want so see the 4.7 cams go away.
