I just learned to live with it.

I drain the oil, let it spill over the cross-member and then use a rag to clean it up. the way I see it, that bit of oil will keep my crossmember from ever rusting =D

YEP, then take the rag & wipe some oil on your door hinges.

i just noticed my first body rust the other day, other than the radiator core mount.
just one little bubble 3 inches above my windshield..

If I had way too much money I'd seriously consider having the whole thing "painted" with Line-X...
