I would go for trailmaster over daystar if you are 4x4. The Daystar kit is easier to install but the TM kit does not allow the suspension to over-extend. It will also stiffen up the ride a bit. Not sure on the Daystar but I have the TM kit and it does not sit higher in the front, it's almost perfectly level, maybe slightly lower up front. I'm running 32" AT's and that's as big as you're going to get away with without doing some trimming or adding a body lift:

well mine is a 2wd and im really looking for it look alot "beefier" without having to lift it so does your 32's rub at all? also i just looked and i didnt see a leveling kit made by trailmaster for a 2007 dodge dakota 2wd only for 4wd

Mx, it will work on a 2wd. They share the same suspension as the 4wd models.

Trailmaster would be in your best interest. expect about 1.5" of lift from this leveling kit in the front. (if you want more lift, you can get a 2.5" leveling kit from autospring, or a 2" leveling kit from daystar, but the design is slightly different, and most agree that the trailmaster design is superior) Then, get yourself some 1" rear axle blocks (or 2" if you went with a different, taller leveling kit), with no taper for drive shaft correction...I BELIEVE 2.25" wide. Alot of guys on here, including myself, have put rear axle blocks on the truck to go with the front leveling kit. You will also need longer round u-bolts. The Advanced Auto steel block and u-bolt kit works on the 8.25" axle, and cost about 25 bucks.

I wear 265/75s on the 16x7s with no rub.

They will rub but I have to be turning at a certain angle and either hit a bump or be on the brakes hard. It's not enough to worry about at all, happens pretty rarely.

Well I have heard of them, they are a rip off at $230 though. AutoSpring makes the exact same kit as readylift, and the kit is $69.95. They have great customer service too. I installed an autospring kit on an f-150. I have also installed a Daystar leveling kit on my 06 dakota 4x2.

I know the daystar kit is 129.95, and the autospring kit is 69.95. There both alot less money, and good choices.

But like what was said earlier, these kits mount on top of the strut, instead on inside the strut like the TM kit.

There are quite a few guys with the Daystar leveling kits on this site. I think one guy has the autospring. Ive installed both before though.

Readylift is like the big name brand, and for some reason really overpriced.

Here is the link to the autospring kit. The same kit fits the ram also, they have the same upper strut plate. You can call them, they are very helpful. They make a 2" and a 2.5" kit.

If you want to see what the truck will look like I have some pictures of my truck with a 2" leveling kit, 2" rear blocks, and 32" tires I could post up.

Daystar is a really big brand, im suprised you havent heard of them. I think they have a lifetime product replacement warranty too, like if you ever lost one due to an accident or damage. google them and check out there website.

Here is my thread of my daystar install, and the 2" rear block install:

https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...ps-inside.html

You can scroll down and see some pictures. The tires are down to like 20% tread life, so there sort of bald, but you get the idea. Thats exactly 2" higher in the front, and 2" higher in the rear. I took pictures of the front and rear kit installed.

Just dont pay any mind to the end of the thread, where I bought longer rear shocks from rough country, they were absolute junk, way to long. The member NJJer is 100% right about those being the wrong size. I had them all of a week before I junked them. The factory shocks will work fine with a 1" to 2" lift in the rear.

So go with the daystar? truck looks good and if i put the axle blocks on it will put a 2 inch lift in the back? im not trying to make it sit too much higher becuase i have to load my dirt bike in the back so i just want it to look like a rugged truck without making it jacked up in the air. the guy earlier told me to go with TM and your saying 100% i shouldnt go with the readylift kit
