They must think the HEMI is an $11k option...

I found a brand new '09 Ram QC w/out a Hemi for that much less on the VERY FIRST website I hit...

http://www.dodge.com ... just built myself an '09 TRX Hemi w/ 3.92 gears, bucket seats, technology group, luxury group, and a 32 gallon fuel tank for $34.5k...

I love the G4 Rams but I would keep the QC Dakota and throw boost to it. Your truck, like mine is paid off man.

Man our trucks are starting to get rarer and rarer among enthusiasts... The new Rams are sweet though but you won't see me parting with my dak.

I love the look, hate the coil overs in the rear. I was in one that was towing only about 5k and it was really a bad ride. Uneven terrain was hell and liked to swerve all over the road. Was so bad, we hooked up to a Ford 150 for the trip back and it felt like the load wasn't even there.
I guess they REALLY gave up some hauling features for a Caddy-like ride...

Keep the Dak Eric. You can always buy a hooker, but it may cost you your true love.

I towed a little over 6,000lbs from Panama City Beach, FL to Portsmouth, VA and my truck handled it like a champ. It was pre-blower so I know our trucks can tow.

Ya, i tow 5,000lbs pretty regularly without much of an issue. Only on a really hot day in the mountains do I feel I could use some more cooling power, but as for the engine pulling the load up the hill, it will do it all day. And...I can still fit on trails, campspots, and parking lots!
