Hmm it just looks like rip-off written all over it. Idk but by looking at it and being its electric Im assuming it wouldnt need the engine or exhaust gases to spin the impeller...idk it looks weird and it seems like its plastic =P lol

If you're looking for power save your money, none of these fans are capable of building pressure and in fact will probably decrease your performance. You are putting something in the path of airflow which can't create any meaningful pressure increase to speak of. The speed of the wind created on an open bench really doesn't tell you much, how about the volume of air it can flow? (CFM) How much of a pressure increase will you get from it? (psi, bar, aka boost) How restrictive is having that in the path of air vs without it?

I can build one of these things for a pretty low cost but it would be absolutely pointless, save your money unless you just want something neat looking for your desk in which case a $12 computer fan, a bit of spackle, and some small ducting will accomplish that goal.

I'm not thinking about buying one! I wanted to know if it worked or not because there a lot of guys here that had spent a lot of money on their trucks and then i come across this and i'm telling myself "Self, this must be a rip off"

Yep you want to avoid those, your engine sucks more air than that thing pushes. It might be ok for a weedeater or something along those lines.

not to mention it'd be pretty embarrassing driving around.
