Default Anyone has "truck" tires on?

Dakotas basically come with street tires. Anyone has those LT tires on? What size?

Yes, I too am ready for new meats. I want the widest, baddest tread I can find. But I don't want to lift. In fact, I want the rear lowering shackles to level the vehicle...and then put on the coolest AT/MT tire I can find that will fit. Kuhmo makes the Road Venture MT KL71. I have the chrome clad 17"s. I really like this tire, but want to go up in width to at least a 285/65/17....or 305/60/17. The problem is they don't make this tire in that size, but have a bunch of LT sizes on tirerack.com. How do you do an LT "conversion"?

I have the proven Bf goodwrench all terrains right now, on my stock 16x7 steel wheel, running a larger size, 265/75 R16.

running 265/65/17 hankook AT/M tires. pretty aggresive and really sticky. i am very impressed with the traction as compared to the stock goodyear tires!

I am running the Hankook Dynapro Mt's. I really like them, but the size I am running you won't be able to run without a lift.

285/70-17's

You could run 265/70-17's with MT's, but if you run AT's you might be able to get away with a bigger tire.
