ya the woodgrain (if you want to call it that) just looks ridiculous, considering it's the only part on the truck that has it!

I currently have the silver piece (which I like alot and I think complements the interior the best), and have had just the regular black plastic in my last dakota. I'm not a fan of the carbon fiber look either (but it sure is way better than the wood grain!)

I actually don't need to do it anymore. I bought a Dakota today that doesn't have wood trim!

That is, by far, the sh*ttiest looking 'faux' carbon fiber I've ever seen. But it still looks better than wood grain in our trucks. haha

i love the wood grain, just wish they would add more ''wood'' to the interior pieces of the truck

Does anyone know where I can view a diagram on how the dash of a Dakota comes off? I'm trying to figure out how to run wires for my sub, and other type of accessories I'd like to hard wire into the truck.

If you wanna call it faux carbon fiber, yeah it looks horrible. But take it as it is, and it's still pretty unique. Yes/no?

Real C-F would be awesome. Then you wouldn't have that black dash kit. You could fill it in.(Then send it to me) lol
