I need someone to tell me how to install a double din in my 2005 Dakota.

I don't care what it takes. I want it to be clean and flush.

This person did a custom job... I wonder who I can go to for a job like that.

Looks to me like they got a dash kit like ericemery has then cut the 'ears' off and glued them in place after cutting out to fit the HU. I cut mine to put the MyGIG in, all you will need is a dremel and a steady hand (if you have a scroll-saw it will be even easier). Mark out your line well and remember measure twice cut once!

Is it possible to get a bezzel without the ears? Or instead of black plastic covers something that matches the grey dash?

I think the first idea you said sounds easiest.

Are you saying I just need to buy a dash kit and a local shop can work the rest of the details out?

Is this the right one?

Has ears

No ears / double din

I'm still trying to figure out where I can buy a bezel that does not have the volume **** cut outs.. Dodge didn't do a good job giving me info on a bezel and I can't find anything online....

Can someone tell me where to go?

I've changed my mind.. All I want to do is now order a factory gray bezel without the volume **** cuts and give it to my mechanic so he can install the radio..

Where do I get a bezel? Dodge was horrible at giving me info on one.. Couldn't even give me a picture or tell me what color I was ordering... He said there were 3 different kinds... Only price was listed... 140, 170, and 300. There was absolutely no additional info he could give me on it...
