Rich, we are getting the specs that Chasis Tech used for the coils and trying to find something similiar. I am not putting thier product on my truck. Like I said, if this brain storming/fabbing works, I will post the results.
Good man, I figured you knew better than to chance it with them.
If this works that's even more money I'll have to spend on mine, lol.
We have an idea on how to go with the front. First part is 2" lowering shackles and shocks for the back. Then 2" dropping blocks, added to the shackels will give me 4" drop on the back. We are looking at adjustable coils/struts for the front.
To get a cheap and easy lift on Cjs, we do a Spring over axle. That adds about 5" of lift. you could do the opposite and reposition the perches underneath the axle and get the same effect...
Plus it'd improve your traction by just about eliminating your axle wrap under hard loads
I dropped off my rear bumper Wednesday to have it sandblasted, primered and painted to match the body color. It should be ready tomorrow.
Tomorrow, the SOVA crew is helping me drop the truck. The Nerf bars are comming off, and the front is going down 2" and the back 4". I'm going to totally decrome the truck. I should have pics ready to post up tomorrow night.
