My 4.7 ho runs fine on the bosch's but the mileage seems to have went down almost 1 mpg on the highway & maybe more in town?? I was thinking about trying the autolite 3922's. Should I try em?

I've tried 4 different plugs, eventually finding that the Iridium plugs seem to work the best for me. But they are so damned expensive. Anyone tried the E3's yet?.....anyone?....Bueller? I want to get a set just so I can say I've tried 5 sets of plugs. Even if you just put one in your lawn mower, I'd like to know the outcome.

This made my day. Seriously, if someone buys these for their mower and tells mprohr that it made it perform like never before, and he buys the E3's because of THAT... I will pay for them myself.

From what I've read and looked into the E3 plugs work the best with the higher octane fuels and bigger engines, they say they don't work to well with a smaller engine like the 3.7L on Reg fuel. which I'm running.

I've been looking at the NKG Iridium to replace my stock ones, just over 54.000km logged. and I'd like opinions on what the 3.7L drivers have used.

I've been using the NGK Iridiums for a couple thousand miles. They seem to give me a slight performance improvement and the most noticable thing is at startup. The engine seems to jump to life rather than just starting. Hard to explain but I noticed it immediately. No change in mileage.

Biker if you noticed in the test resulted I posted in that picture they gave all the test results at 3000 rpm, While I am have it on cruise control on the freeway it's just a little over 2000 rpm so we may not very good results in the 3.7 because we are not running at there test range of 3000 rpm, something to think about.. just picked up another set of 3922 plugs for the dak, was racing the other night, check engine light came up, i new it as soon as i hit the nitrous, (KABOOM), i had to many cyl, misfiring at once. oh well, time for a tune up. truck doesnt run to good on 5 cyl.
