Default Warranty

This has probably been asked before. But, I finally decided to ditch my muffler and run a straight pipe instead. Sorry, not what I was looking for in sound. Around 2-3000 rpm it sounded like rice. So I went straight out with a turn out before the wheel. Now with that said, does any exhaust modification void warranty? I have the 3yr-36000mi. I'm at 21300.

Prob just for the exhaust unless they can contribute valve burning to ECM problems attributed to zero or little back pressure.

Ok, I just did this yesterday. I just clamped it all on so it can be put back to original.
Thanks. Would this happen imediately or over time?

Put a decent aftermarket muffler on it. Low backpressure hurts the V6's it seems. I have a Slowmaster 40 and I'm pretty sure it cost me some low end. Not that the V6's have a ton of it anyway.

not entirely sure how accurate this is but... the guy at the exhaust shop here claims, as long as your exhaust mods are behind the y-pipe, it will not void the warranty

Guess I should actually use this site to it's fullest before asking. Thanks Frenchy.
