Default What is the range of your remote?

It seems like there is a big blind spot when opening the door locks. Even with a new battery the range is very disappointing. Much depends on which side I am approaching the truck.

Hrmmm, mine will unlock the door from inside our house, through three walls, and into our other garage... about 65 feet from here...

I have had it lock and unlock from about a quarter mile, it still will go about 500-600 feet for mine...

This may sound a little odd, but point your head towards the truck and then place the remote flat on your chin with the buttons pointing out and press the unlock button..

Your head acts like a directional antenna. Someone else test this for us please, but it works for me when I am out of range.

It works. I've tried it before, but won't do it again. Don't know what the side effects will be later in life

I like to suprise people by pushing my panic button when they walk by. I can be completely out of sight. Good times.

Mine gets up to 5000' of range in a open space no obstructions, that's just over a mile. not really needed but cool!
