Question Hemi Dakota!!

Ok soo for me being a newb well right now I'm not sure if this is going to far out on the limb here or not. Soo I will ask it has anyone done or talked bout doing a hemi dakota??? I mean they made a hemi durango. Was it made using frame specs from the ram only? Does the dakota have any chance to possibly have this upgrade done to it if the durango spare parts were there????

No way $20,000 Might cost me half if that! How can that be justified at that much if you know where a wrecked durango hemi is and you know the guys at the yard. Why not just plug durango stuff into the dakota??? Is there really that much of a need to fab stuff?? I get the testing part tho. I would think after awhile it might be able to be done cheaper after awhile if others follow/want this motor.

ya...after reading up on what that guy (forget his name or SN) had to go through to get it to work, you might as well just use what you got. Or, just get a vehicle with the hemi to start with! I know our 4.7's can get pretty quick given the right mods.

you are also going to have to splice the harnesses, its not just a plug an play deal. you will probably need the cluster and engine harness from the Dur as well....

its not a cheap or a quick project... instead of spending all that money, why not build up the 4.7 and add in some forced induction?
Ok then well maybe I'm overestimating this project. Blowing it alittle out of porportion then my wallet could maybe handle. Soo I mean if I build up the 4.7 can I really get a reliable engine down the road??? What I really want is a 4.7 stick QC Dak!! I'll prob. forget about this hemi project if I come across one of those! I just don't know how far that 4.7 can go until I should start worrying about stuff 80,000?? 100,000 miles then some major attention maintence?? Idk these motors??
