do you have the factory wheels on there?

I know you said you got different tires, but did you get different wheels, too?

Did you take them damn lil clips off the lugs that hold the discs and drums on while it was being assembled at the plant?

That's what I was gonna suggest, Billy.

When I had my new wheels put on, they never took off the clips, and the truck shook uncontrollably. Took them off, never shook since.

I've had the same problem for a while now. Mild-Moderate shaking / quivering between 50 and 60 MPH.

I haven't had the time yet, but I plan to address the clips as well.

As I understand, they are retaining clips that fit around the wheel studs, between the rims and brakes, for assembly purposes.

The plan is to remove each wheel, remove the clips (I hope they are there...) and re-torque to spec.

I still haven't ruled out wheel balance, but this is easier than having the tires unmounted, re mounted and rebalanced.

It's annoying, but I'm kind of glad others have had this problem. Makes it less likely that any of us have a really weird or hard to diagnose problem.

I noticed it a little bit too, maybe I'll look at the wheel clip thing. I just assumed it was poorly balanced tires because I had the new tires put on 2 days after I bought the truck and have nothing to really compare it to.
