short segments because a headliner is made of cork board and fabric... it cant hold its weight in strange angles... have you ever dropped a headliner before? they fold like cheap suit. crease all up and you have to re-upholster and reinforce the actual board its self. PITA. fiberglass resin works good to fix creases though.




Oh yeah, and dynamat may be considered crap by those internet review sites, but check out the issue before last of caraudiomag... Dynamat extreme is the deadener of choice in 3 current world record holding SQ vehicles.

 

I agree that is not cheap. Raamat had some issues a while back with the aluminum peeling off the asphalt/tar that they used.


The best and easiest to apply deadener I have used is from elemental design. their liquid deadener is bad ***.
