Default what to look for before dropping headliner

ok, I've got side curtain air bags and I'm gonna be dropping my headliner so I can further sound proof my truck.

I figure I need to pull the fuse and unhook the battery, but is there anything else I have to worry about?

thanks

I think im gonna pick up some fabric dye and some carving foam tomorrow, and when I drop it, "paint" it to match the dark grey.
