Default Driving Lights Question? (Wiring Experts?)

I have my driving lights behind my grill on a switch and tied into my highbeams,

my question is, if I have the switch turned on so the lights turn on with my highbeams, why do they also turn on with my driving / running lights?

Once I turn the headlight on to the far right the grill lights turn off, but only in the full on position, the trucks switch in the off and running light position turns the grill lights on.

Did I wire something wrong? I'm getting my second set of lights and moving them to the brush bar and I'd like to fix this at the same time.

Does your truck have DRL's, (I assume so In BC)? Not sure how it works on these trucks, but some use the high beams at a reduced voltage.

The driving lights have a relay, In the running or off position for the lights, the relay will buzz quite loud (can hear it in the cab) I do have the DRL's so I am guessing the highbeams and DRL's are the same wire, the other wire is the headlights.

I going to see If I can tie into the wire farther back, anyone know if the highbeam relay is under the hood or in the steering colum?

That's all I can offer you right now, good luck. It doesn't seem to like Firefox.
