First of all, WELCOME to the 3rd Gen Dak Section! Second, I guess it all depends on what you are looking for sound wise A loud, obnoxious sound or nice grumble, etc?

Welcome to DF!

I've never had a V6 with exhaust on it personally but the best sounding 6 I've heard was running a Magnaflow dual setup.

but the 40 Series Flow master with ALL the resonators out is what had first, it's a nice deep sound, it just wasn't loud enough for me.

I'm tired of my Flowmaster 40. The low end sounds decent, but it gets raspy at typical acceleration RPMs, and resonates pretty badly.

There are also frequent claims that it decreases torque at low RPM, but no one has come forth with a dyno sheet yet.

I'm probably replacing it with a much quieter performance muffler soon.

I ran a Magnaflow catback on my old 3.9 Dakota, back in the day, it was surely loud and aggressive!

Cherry Bomb?! Its what I run on my 8 now!
