Default Just saying hello!

Hello to all! I am new around the truck world and found this forum a few weeks back and have been looking around for information and so far I have learn a lot. I recently sold my car cause I needed a truck for work and after many tries to get a Dakota, I finaly got an 06 Raider that you all know is almost the same thing.

Well now it turns out that I love this truck and do not want to mess it up at work. So now I am trying to get a company van to leave my truck home. The Raider is the LS model ext cab I think is the basic model and I haven't done anything to it yet, well I did swap the steel wheel for Dakota ones. I am waiting for the fog ligths and harness I got from ebay they should be here any time now.

I'll like to know if any of you guy have any pointers of how to cut the opening for the fog ligth. I'll be doing that on sunday if the fog ligth come in tomorow.

Here is a pic when I got the truck

and with the dakota wheels

Welcome to DF and the 3rd Gen Dakota Section. Nice looking truck man! I like the Dak rims better than the stockers. It gives it a better look Dont be afraid to ask anything!

I did not like the stock wheels and I found those Dakota wheels on craiglist $80 for all four, but they look much better than the stock ones. May be later I get some other kind of wheels.

I just replaced the headligth bulbs...man I went to hell and back trying to get the headligth out. It look like they've never been taken out before. And the fogligths haven't arrive yet so I gess I'll wait another week.

I did it on a friend's eclipse with a dremel and it came out pretty good.

I did my buddies 99 dakota, but that kind of had a cut out already traced for the fog light cutouts...

I'll "x2" sdtalon's theory.

Try a dremel with a reinforced cut off wheel from the inside of the bumper... I'd assume there is some sort of, way to tell where it is from in the bumper...

Ok, I got the fog lights. I cut out the bumper and ran the wires with a relay and everything is set and ready to go. All I need, is to find out wich wire from the headligth to conect to so the fog ligth will come on with the headlights. I have search all over the place trying to find out with no luck. If some one can help me on this. Thanks!
