Default Okay 2005 Dodge Dakota lighting EXPERTS

H-13 is the headlamps

H-10 is Factory bumper fog lamps

This is US built Larramie in 2005. I am seattle and travel dark roads..I bought truck new and the lights suck.,. I have 2000 Dakota prior with 5.9 I shouold have never traded it. both were/are quad cab.

This 2005 is Hi Output and a fukkken joke compared to the 5.9 I had. Forget that crap just tell me the headlamps and company to buy from.. thanks

These stock headlight bulbs FKKKen suck I need a BULB to replace both headlamps Hi/Lo and fog lamp thats brighter and longer and fits same hole or just a bulb.

I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota and the front park light bulb needs to be replaced. I tried using a Philips screwdriver to remove the screws below the housing but it wouldn't work. I shined a light and it is a star screw. I have star bits but a part of the handle that the bits are attached to is stopping it from reaching the screw. I need to know which star size it is i.e. T40, T45, etc. Can you help with this? Tks

You can easily replace the front turn signal bulb without removing the headlight assembly. Simply lay on the ground and you will be able to reach the bulb socket from below, it is easily within reach. Give it a twist, pull it out, and pull the bulb out. I had no problem doing it that way.

But the Torx bit size is T30.

Welcome aboard.

Thank you dakotaaff for the quick reply. I am physically challenged with fibromyalgia, so getting down that low will be hard. I will have to take the housing out. Thanks again for the info and speedy reply.

Did you just plop the LED light into the OEM headlight assembly?

Default Headlights

Yes sir, bought the aftermarket headlights. The factory ones were clouded so bad, it was less work to replace them. The JDM astar lights replace the factory set up completely. They install just like the factory socket but they have a small fan built into their socket for cooling. The plug is connected to a short wire for the harness to plug into to.
