Default Uconnect?

anyone ever activated it, when it didnt come from the factory? i keep finding install kits but they either say for mygig only or units w/out uconnect button... i however i dont have mygig and my stero does have the uconnect button, i know it needs at least a microphone then has to be activated by the dealer, but im striking out on any other info, i talked to the dealer and they all have their heads up their *** and dont know anything more than i do...

Gives you hands free and blue tooth capability. I've been thinking about it as well. I have the button but when I push it, it says its not installed/connected or something like that. My wife tried out the Sync (blue tooth phone) in a rental Ford Escape and she said it was the Bee's Knee's.

I also believe there is some kind of control module on the passenger kick panel. I have it in my Raider and LOVE IT!
