Default krc performance has done it again

now with all the hype about the 4.7 cams, www.krcperformance.com has started a new billet cam, these cams are suppose to be better than what they have now, with the new 210x an the sct tuning, they exspect the 4.7 with a few mods to hit 360 at the wheels, they also say a five ir six speed will hit 390 at the wheels. the only problem is these cams will start at 1300.00 an go from there.

As found in the All Par site the 4.7 has tons of potential to be an amazing performance engine. Built for high revs and a strong web cast barring plate. Native race design components and the HO with HD/HP parts from the factory. This thing in the right hands could be a powerhouse. Shame Dodge craped on it most likely because of a failing mother ship (Chrysler). The engine has been plagued with valve lash adjuster problems and even crank problem in some cases. I could see this engine as a great NASCAR engine because if it’s lite weight to potential horsepower ratio.

Are these just for the 2005-2007 motors? I'm getting sick of the shaft that the 09 is getting!

Ya well the 05- 07 owners are sick of having 70hp less than you do.

Give it time, it took awhile for stuff to start coming for the 05-07 motors, the more vehicles and more years that get the newest version of the 4.7 the faster aftermarket will pay attention to it.

Can we add to the discussion the options for replacing valve lash adjusters at the same time as replacing the cam? Or is that thread hijacking. I mean, you might as well do it all at once.

I know Airram offers solid lash adjusters, they are not cheap though. I haven't browsed through krc's wares lately but I would assume they can get them too.

I've seen the Airram ones. They look great, but $330 for a set compared to under $100 for stockers? But if the ticking returns, I'm gonna put a bullet in my head. Any other options? The Airram ones would go great with the KRC cams. I didn't see anything on the KRC website about adjusters.
