bad speakers???
this mourning i get in the dak and notice there is only sound from the drivers front door... every few seconds i would get a noise from the pass side that sounded like another station trying to come through (its not, just sounds like that) i checked the balance and fade to no avail, what could this be?
i have a simlar problem in my ram, but i know what that is, when it rains or i wash it, water gets in the door and on the speakers, making them shut off, but am i dealing with something similar on the dak? well, it hasent rained if a few days either,

If there is no sound only at that one speaker, chances are the speaker is bad. If both speakers on the passenger side are not working then you have a problem with your radio or amplifier if you have one. Best way to test is remove the speaker that is not working and connect a known good speaker to the wires. If there is still no sound, pull the radio or amp and check the speaker wires for continuity to ground, with a volt-ohm meter. If that test is OK, have the radio or amp bench tested at a good car audio shop. If the radio is bad, it may be more reliable and cheaper to just replace the radio, or use an aftermarket unit. It all depends on the cost of repairs for the original radio.

it is a quad cab and appears that only the front driver door and maby the driver side tweeter might be working too, all the rest seem to be dead and this is the "premium" system too...hopefully they will come back, but i doubt it, this truck is brand new, so will be going to the dealer if its anything more than a couple minet fix, which is a real PITA for me because i work out in the middle of nowhere from 7am-6pm, 40 miles in the wrong direction from the nearest dealer
