The term used mostly is: A PITA

I changed mine out for the black housing. I don't know what made it more difficult. The brush guard being on the truck or that all the connecting bolts are behind and you have to get to them from below. I suppose that is you have a lift it would make it easier, or some way to get the front up at least as high so you can sit up straight. But yeah, its a PITA.

But the way your truck looks afterwards? AWESOME!

I can second that. the bar on the front does make it harder to get at the screws to get those off. and you can't get your hands on the housing the way you can without the bruch guard.

No disagreement here. Just one more thing to add to my list of upgrades, and for less than $150, thats not bad. Question for all, if you swtiched them out, how much do you think you could get for your old ones? To offset cost of course.
