Default What wheel should I buy ??

Well I have been looking forever trying to find a wheel that says buy me and its been a pretty hard search.. Here is what I think I have it narrowed down to and I want to tell me which wheel you think I should get..

Here is the first a 18"x9" Monster +18 offset with Cooper zeon 285/60/18

The next is the SRT-10 Wheel it only comes in a 20"x9" wheel and thats it and it has a +25 offset. There are two different tires I want to run one would fit good on these wheels the other is really pushing size limit for the fender wheels and so forth..

first tire is a cooper zeon ltz 285/50/20 should fit no problem and the next tire is pushing the limit on overall diameter which is a tire size of 275/55/20 ..

Well guys which wheel do you think I should put on my truck, the monster wheel or the SRT10 which Wheel should I buy..

Um, I've seen the top wheels and asked about them. They'll rub a little on the inside. Not sure how much, but this was straight from the vendor.

Not sure about the others.

you wont get rubbing if you get the right offset, the XD monsters come in a few different offsets which makes it nice.. the big key when buying wheels, you have to do is measure from your nearest suspension component to the tire or wheel what ever is closest which is upper ball joint on Dakotas then see how much you have to work with then you change the difference in offset to compensate for the wider wheel.. But you also have to consider your overall diameter of the wheel because that lets you know how much room you have to work with inside your fender well..

My problem is I cant figure which I like better I have one more stop to make which I dont wanna do is head down to Detroit to a place called Hotwheels they have a huge selection of wheels but it down in the getto a little out of place for this country boy LOL.. Well which wheel do you guys like better? Cya Slick

If you plan to keep the wheels/truck for a long time, I would say the SRT wheels have a much more timeless quality to them. The monsters look good, but are pretty trendy...and the trend has been around for a while already...

I like the SRT 10's, will be awaiting the results of squeezing the 285's in there.

I think the monster XD's are bad ***. The srt's seem sportier. So it depends what your going for. If you want a rugged look I'd take the XD's if you want sport, go with the SRT's. Oh and by the way, check out Dodgetrucker75 his wheels are sick! Plus, I like the front and rear bumper upgrades he did. Question for ya Trucker75, if you don't mind me askin how much did your wheels, bumpers, and lift set you back? Also, do these wheel styles come in anything similar to OEM, I'd hate to have to chuck the tires I just got, just to get them in a bigger size.

as far as i know they only make 16 inch black rockstar wheels for a dually applications, otherwise you have to go to 18's or 20's, the bumpers i built myself, the wheels were somewhere around $800-900, picked up the leveling kit on ebay for about $80 and a body lift from another member here for $200
