Default hemi transplant

i like the way my 4.7 drives but want a hemi and was wondering if i can stuff the 5.7 or 6.1 in the hole and will it mate up to the transmission already in the truck or if i would have to pull one from a donor Grand Cherokee srt8 or hemi ram, also will the motor mounts work or will i need to hand fab a new set. by the way i drive a 2008 dakota 4x4 SLT crew cab

If you look up DUSTY05 on "other" dodge and bionic forums you will see he has already stuffed in a 5.7.

Dusty is a member here as well. No need for the "" Cuban11182. The other forums arent a secret.

Nuthinbutadodge, we have a thread that features his truck... enjoy.

No worries. What is cool about Dusty's transplant is he swapped over a stock 5.7L with a 6.1 cam. With that sole mod he broke a high 13, like a 13.9 or something. With all of the Hemi aftermarked support I see the possibility of creating a beast at a fraction of the cost of beefing up the 4.7L.
