Default nice "compliments" yesterday

In the parking lot at the archery shop (getting my bow tuned) I was starting the truck up to leave. A guy coming from another shop was next to me on the passenger side when I started the truck. I saw him look down at my tail pipe and then motion me to open my window. I turned the stereo down and opened the passenger window and guess what he asked me... "that thing have a hemi?" LOL I told him no but it is a 4.7 magnum... He looked again at the truck and couldn't figure out it was a Dakota. Asked me if it was a Ram and I told him what it was. (yes it's debaged, the only DAKOTA wording on it is the 3rd brake light) He said how much he liked the look and sound. That was 1. Second was I brought it to a car wash. This is one where you have to leave the vehicle. Well, I was in the lobby watching and the guy got in to bring it from the line to the towel dry area. He goosed it a little and the back end let loose... He had such a suprised look on his face. (and I had a worried one) Yes, it really isn't THAT impressive due to the ground being so wet, But this guy is driving all sorts of vehicles to the line and he was so supprised with how my truck took off. When he got out, he looked at my back tires adn I still have a good amoutn of thread, He just shook his head and continued work. When I went to get the into the truck, a different towel guy said to me, nice looking truck, and mentioned the guy who was shocked at the power... 2 compliments in one day, (sorta) makes one feel proud. Sorry just thought i would share.

I think that dodge should offer a conversion, as well as offer the dakota with the 5.7 as well as like the old r/t with the 6.1 LOL.

They have thought about it, but the reason for not putting the 5.7 in the Dakota is it will kill Ram sales. They are cancelling the Dakota in a couple years though due to low sales unfortunatly.

The new Durango is lookin pretty good though. I like what they did with the front end.

thats because nobody really knows about them anymore i never seen commercials for them and on top of it they need sumthing with alittle more power then the 4.7 they should go back to the 318 and just make it better then make an option for the 5.9l again ehhee then Dakotas would beat the rams all the time...again hehehe
