Well, KRC has 224 Cams again. I think I'm going to buy them, but the wife put a stipulation on me. If I get the 224 cams I have to sell the tranny valve body (just arrived today).

What are the advantage of this upgraded cam? Do they go in without any other engine mods? If other mods are needed for cams what would they be?

 

224 cams are often called "boost cams" they are designed specifically for Turbo and Supercharged applications. I will have to go with lash caps and beehive springs.

LMAO, she has been really good about my modifications. When I got the email about the 224 cams today, she gave me the option. Either I can get the cams or the valve body/intercooler. I really wanted the cams so she was onboard, lol. I cancelled the order for the intercooler and Trucky is going to buy my tranny valve.
