To do a shift kit, or to not do a shift kit

2nd- I can't believe no one has deterred you from taking the tuner back. After all these discussions about which tuner to get and what they do, don't you realize it takes time for your truck to adapt and get the full performance from the tuner? I would say return it since you overpayed, but get it again online for the better price.

Yea, that quote caught my attention and i actually laughed out loud. I know it wasn't any help but thought it was the most interesting from their webste. I considered quoting the rest of the description but thought I would leave it to you guys that had actual experience with upgrading valve bodies.

Alright, so I guess I have decided against a shift kit. A valve body is out of the question right now, as I dont have the money for the core. It would just suck to stick money in to a shift kit/valve body, for the computer to readjust the pressure and make it feel stock again. I bought another tuner this morning, but I am much happier with the price. I got a brand new Flashpaq 3865 shipped to my door for $285.26 so I saved over $135.

Yes, unfortunately I wanted to keep things hush hush and reveal the finished product when it was ready but I got too excited...
My original plan was a tune up, headlights, and re-do exhaust... and well, let's just say I had to ditch my original plan of buying a $4k drumset because I went mod crazy... after putting a bunch of deployment $ in savings of course
