just be careful and do it right the guy that had my truck before me put a e-fan on and it ened up shorting itself out because of build up on the pins. dealership couldnt get a new electrical module and ened up putting on a used fan, blew my water pump, months later again because the bearings went so got another new pump and fan. i don't want to see it happen to somebody else.

The only complaint I heard about the e-fans was how much power they suck up from the alternator. Thats the only thing keeping me from doing one. Congrats though! Everyone loves presents for themselves.

That's my concern with the fan, I have my stereo and lights that draw a fair bit, if I put the fan on will my alt be able to keep up.

My headlights and dash lights dim with a directional on .... Idk if my alternator could handle an e-fan

You have a short somewhere. I had a car that did that once. Turned out someone forgot to ground a wire out when the pulled the diesel and put in a gas engine...

I hear they make a better alternator. Puts out more power. Maybe that'll help?

I know I want to put one on mine, just because of the winch. With an e-fan, I know I will. (Which happens to be my next major mod.)
