I am majorly pissed right now, high winds and rain today, well I looked out the window just in time to see a bigass piece of flashing fly across the lawn into my truck! It left some scratches on the passenger side, I went running out to get it off the truck before it did more damage flapping around and see that the tree in the neighbors yard is falling over and if it went any further would have landed right on the hood. Needless to say I moved the truck around the side of the building so it has some shelter from flying objects, now I have to go back out and try to get the number of the business the flashing flew off of so I can get them to fix this. I hate Jersey!

That sucks Rich, man. You know you love your truck when you see it about to get damaged and try to hurl yourself in front of it like a Secret Service Agent, lol.

 

Well I went over there and talked to the owner briefly, he said to come by tomorrow and we'd work it out. With any luck he'll be as agreeable tomorrow, I'm not looking to rake him over the coals I just want it fixed.

Seriously though, the only "exit tax" NJ has is if you're selling real estate. And as far as I understand, it's more of a twist on income tax you may owe than it is an "exit" tax. Even still, we're taxed higher than any state in the country. What a great thing to be known for. :/

Bummer. The other day I noticed a "ding" that wasnt there before. FML. Everytime I go to th store, the truck is WAY in the back, away from all other vehicles and illusive carts. How does this happen?
