Default Thump thump noise from rear end

At slow speed such as backing out of garage or rolling over a small bump at under 5mph I hear a thump thump. It's like a muffled clunk clunk.

Have new shocks and bushings. New axle bearings and differential innerds.

Could be:

Body to frame mounts.

Spring shackles or bushings.

Tail gate

Any ideas?

I would check to make sure your new shocks are bolted tight.

i bet if you look under at where the shock mounts to the truck you will see that the new shock is smaller then the stock one. meaning the the mounting bracket needs to be clamped in a little to stop the movement of the shock in the bracket. you can have the bolt tight on the top but the shock top will still move back and forth in the mount. took me about a day to figure mine out after changing.
