All you can really do is buy a leveling kit, and then you have the option of rear axle blocks, or a rear add-a-leaf. 2" all around is about the max you can get. Adding larger tires can net you about an inch of sidewall, which will get you off the ground another inch. So, 3" in total.

3" is actually a nice amount, but I am not a fan of leveling kits for the earlier posted reasons. So, besides those, there is no true-blue lift kit that keeps reliability in mind.

keep in mind that you can have 12" of lift but if your only running 31" tires then your still dragging your diff your true lift comes from your tires. its finding way to make bigger tires fit. now that's the trick.. all suspension is gonna get you is more articulation and a body lift will help with the tire issue..

Here's my project completed, for now. 3" body lift by Performance Accessories and 2.5" front coil lift made at local shop for $50. Clears 33" BF Mud Terrain tires with no problem whatsoever. Has airbags in the rear mostly just for towing purposes. My truck is the 4.7, 4x4, SLT. Mostly stock.

I don't know the long term affects of the spacers. Only time will tell. When I had the truck on the hoist to install the spacers the upper arm was in contact with the coil spring. However, when I set the truck back on the ground it was not an issue. The front shafts are at quite an angle, however I haven't had any issues in 4wd. But I suspect there may be some wear issue problems down the road. I tore one of the cv boots during installation and so I replaced the half shaft on the drivers side.
