fuel problem plz help

Default fuel problem plz help

i just replaced my float assembly in the gas tank and now it is hard starting and not runnin right. it is not gettin enough gas why? do i need to reset the computer or anything? i checked to see if i pinched any lines and there was nothin. plz help!!!!!!!!!!

these trucks have an internal fuel filter, you may disturb enough junk in the tank to have really clogged it

it is really hard to start when im on a hill but not flat?

I would get a fuel line pressure gauge and check the pressure comming of the pump.

it worked perfect before i changed the float and i only changed the float cuz my gauge stopped workin. now the gauge works but im not gettin enough gas when im on a hill

Not everyone will have ideas. I would
#1 check fuel line pressure. If the fuel line is comming to correct pressure, you can probably ruel out fuel filter.

#2 relieve pressure from the fuel ine by pressing the schrader valve on the fuel rail. Air in the line can create this problem. Would help explain why it doesn't want to run on hills, air is collecting in a certain spot inhibiting fuel delivery.

where is the shrader valve and fuel rail ? lmao im not a mechanic but i can do some things
