Finally, After 5 Years!!!!!!!!!!
After getting some help from the folks here I just COULD NOT get those damned rear headrests out on my quad cab.
When I took it in to get the oil changed I asked the lube guy if he had any idea on how to get these out. He said he would look at it. I told him about inserting a paper clip in the indent on the tab on top of the seat. I told him I had tried that but could not get them to budge. I was about to use a hack saw on them suckers.
I went out in the waiting room (they don't want you watching them) and thought maybe I should go back and tell him to leave them alone as the last time I had the truck in for an oil change they charged me $10 just to replace a bulb. That's another story.
Anyway, he already had them out. He used the same method however he must have used different friendlier language than I did to get them out.
Now the wife can stop yelling at me for not being able to see out the back through the rearview mirror.
It DOES make a big difference.
I wished I would have asked them 5 years ago when I bought the pickup.
