Anyone else as excited as I am?!? :D
Ive been following the superchips forums for a couple months, and it looks like a transmission update is coming out for the 04-09 Dodge's. Apparently, the update will allow for stock shifting or the option to change torque managment control. Ron @ superchips says it will be out very soon. It was supposed to be out at the end of 2009, but it got delayed. Anyone know any details on this? I would love to have a firmer shift, even if I have to pay for an update!
I hope its out soon!
I have been dreaming and waiting... and waiting... and waiting
I am excited yes! I am not complaining but it is one thing that's been talked about for some time. Lets see the work already!

Id just like the truck to shift like it does during the 1-2 shift at 50-75% throttle for all shifts all the time. It will get your head moving, but it doesnt over do it. The shift for 1-2 sucks at 100% throttle, and none of the other shifts impress me. Apparently though, it looks like it is only coming out for the 5.7l engines at first, with the 4.7l to follow. I feel like the Dakota is always forgotten about
Im just happy I got the v8 when I picked up my Dakota, or I would be SOL right now. Talk about a lack of performance options.

If they did that too many people would buy dakotas...Dodge obviously doesn't want that to happen.
So I just checked the SC forum today and it looks like the trans update for the 04+ Hemis will be released tomorrow: https://www.superchips.com/forum/vie...=7816&start=45
They are offering a coupon code (also to be released tomorrow) which gives SC users 3 days to get the update for free, otherwise it will cost $40. This is looking good for us with the 4.7l's .... maybe we will have an update in our hands by the end of the month? But I wont hold my breath.
