Question Peel and stick

Wanted to get dakota veterans opinions on peel and stick body parts. (scoops, chrome body accents, and handles) they are made from abs "chrome" will the finish peel eventually and show black plastic, or are they pretty durable? Here is an example of what I am looking at

I used to run scoops on my old Dak, they dont look too bad, but I would opt for a smoother, more natural look next time...

Here the old Dak with the scoops...

They do work as awesome cushions to the roof/windshield when the hood blows up after hitting a deer....

I only like the real stuff like when it comes to chrome gas caps and replacement chrome handles. I see a ton of rams around here with the chrome handle covers, and they do look nice. Im not really a fan of putting all the 3m stuff on my truck. Those real replacement parts that are chrome can get pricey so I see why people go with covers. Its your truck though, and do with it as you wish.

I got the "chrome" stick ons for the handles. Only used the handle part and the tub part I got rid of. I liked the two tone of the chrome and black. Also have the chrome door guards adn the double sided for the rain guards over the windows.

personally I like how this is turning out.

It's a quick way to start looking like that yellow dakota that was posted up recently. To each his own.

Never been a fan of the stick on stuff myself. Put it next to real chrome and you can tell the difference.

Nonfunctioning scoops and vents are kinda ricey. But, accents like door handles and actual decorative pieces are cool. But don't let me stop ya. Just opinion.
