I used herculiner in mine and it turned out great. You have to prep the surface correctly but its alot cheaper than having one professionally sprayed in.

I herculinered my last truck, just havent had a chance to do it to this one yet. I did my last one with good results, but the next time Im going to sand a little better. I left some of the gloss and shine in the box last time and after about a year of weathering some of it started to show through. So this time Im going to sand and primer the bed first, apply the herculiner and then a UV protectant to prevent fading.

I got hurculiner on both my trucks and I will say that it is the best DIY liner on the market. It is non slip, tough, and you can paint it. Now my buddy has Rhino liner and it's a very good liner if your willing to drop 400 to 600 bucks. Hurculiner you can buy it for $80 to $105 and get 2 coats out of the 1 gallon container.

i have used just about every kind of DIY bed liner, my grandpa owns a paint store and we always got free samples, or very cheap, but now i will only have line-x do the work, most of the DIY stuff does work very well and looks great, but my beds see quite a bit of abuse, and the DIY kits always peeled/chiped in one form or another, the biggest plus for line-x is if you do manage to mess it it up, you can just take the truck back and they will fix/repair for free, what i found was i was replacing/repairing DIY liners about once a year for about $100 a kit normal price, plus work, then $500 for the line-x and havent touched it since, my $.02 guess it all depends on what you use it for and how its treated...

im gonna herculiner mine soon on top of my duplicolor, the duplicolor stuff is too thin, haven't had any problems with chipping or pealing, that being said i went a little ocd and didn't just scuff it, i spent 14 hrs sanding down to primer BY HAND!!!!!!
now u wanna talk about an epic bedliner, my step-dad used to have a silverado hd and we had it done by the people that did all the military coatings around here, it was combat something, unfortunately they don't do bedliners anymore, that bedliner was indistructable
