the 2006 TRX4 group added: antispin diff, unique 16x8 wheels, ride height increase(as stated above about 1" in rear), decals, steel skid plates, front tow hooks, heavy duty service group, BFG All Terrain KO tires, special shocks(the fronts still were junk), slush mats for the inside and the bounus was 4 wheel ABS.

The 2006 pkg had the most stuff, in 2007 they dropped the 4 wheel ABS and went to the BFG rugged trail tires.

Hopefully the cv's are heavier duty. :/

Red shocks here, and even though it's stiffer, it rides better than my 05. FWIW

Still have the same 16x8 rims on my 08 (they dropped them in 09 or 10 for another style).

And don't even get me started on 3rd gen brakes. Not only did they lose the 4 wheel ABS, but it still pisses me off that the 05+ lost the 4 wheel discs. My 01 and 04 stopped 10x better than either of my 3rd gens with drums rears.

TRX4 = Trail rated extreme to the fourth power?

Front tow hooks would have been handy a couple times..
