A 6.1L from an SRT8 was successfully transferred into a 2001 Durango.

actually they make a lot of stuff for them, everything is exactly the same as the 6bt, just missing 2 cylinders, southbend bulit one up around 800hp, i had a 4bt i built up twin turbos and all, and mounted it in a clean 1980 dodge/mitsu D50 had it almost done and got frustrated trying to get the steering setup, then someone offered me a big chunk of change for everything other than the body and trans, and stupidly accepted, i kick myself in the *** everyday for selling it

thats because theres 2 more cylinders and 2 more cylinders mean more meat around them plus all the goodies.. anyone ever do sum math on how much it be to convert our trucks? i know the engine and tranny gonna be a good chunk.. i just know running the fuel lines is pain in the ***.

Gentlemen, like I have said before. If there is a will, there is a way. If you really want to make a viper engine fit, you are going to find a way to do it. If a 350 can be stuffed into a Gremlin, anything is possible.
