Hello all, Two weeks ago I bought my first dodge. I have been a GM guy my hole life. So I now have a 2005 Dakota crew cab SLT 4x4 with the 4.7.
The truck has 28,000 miles and has sat in a garage for two years. I bought it from the original owner who is 85ish. What do you think is $12,500 a good deal? The truck is in very good shape. Also just wanted to thank you guys for all the great info on these trucks.

Welcome!
You definetly got a good deal. I paid $11,600 for mine last year and it had 86k on it. I would have loved to find one with lower miles if the price wouldve stayed near the 12k range, but most 2005+ Dakotas with 4x4, quad cabs and the 4.7 are $14k plus.

That sounds like a great deal, for you at least. Poor old guy lost his truck and is dying. Anyways, I paid over 16k for my '06 with 30k miles over a year ago. Welcome to the forum, and yes pictures are required of your truck. Free account to host pictures at photobucket.com.
