i just placed my order; they do ship to my location, give military discounts and will tell you about the best way and cheapest way to ship. i should get my set before the end of the week. a good weekend project.

and i got the premium dimpled and slotted (black) with the semi-metallic (premium) pads

They will, but the guys at brakeperformance also told me they didn't recommend ceramic on my truck. He said it's less braking power than the semi-metallics and they build up more heat. Considering the ceramics would have resulted in my paying them more I figured they were telling the truth, otherwise why talk me into spending less money?

They actually told me they don't have any ceramic pads.

They did say the complete opposite what I've been reading on the internet about ceramic vs metallic. They said that ceramic will wear your rotors out faster. And, that ceramic causes more break dust (not true according other sources). I don't know who to believe anymore... They did try to get me to buy the premium metallic break pads... I said no, and took the free ones.

Wouldn't recommend having your rotors turned might as well buy a new set. Turning them takes material away from the rotors and as a result shortens their life. Honestly rotors arent all that expensive. I recommend purchasing them yourself if at all possible, some shops will let you use your own parts and others will not. Usually the ones that due charge a little extra for labor but it's better than paying marked up prices for parts from a shop.

Well I wont be replacing my rotors this weekend??? I e-mailed Brake performance to see if my order shipped or not since I placed it Monday and they tell me they had to zinc plate them 3 to 4 days before they would be shipped? whats up with that??

You figured if your selling a product you would have this kinda thing done so when a customer ordered them they could be shipped right out.. Did you guys have the same experience with this company??? Cya Slick

i ordered monday, got a shipment notice today. as long as i get them, i don't really care how long it took for them to ship since 1. they don't quote a lead time for shipping and 2. shipping was free for my order.

I ordered yesterday, they said they should ship out in 4 or 5 days. Man, this site just keeps pullin' dollars from me.
Thanks DF!
