Talking New Mods yay

Ok, I installed the air horns, next I did my plugs (switched to auto 3923) and installed the napa 180 stat. I must say, they did seem to make a difference, but I want MORE! So, vets, whats the next cheapest mod I can do? (I have been meaning to upload a video of the horns but havent had the chance yet.)

Well, the horns were quite large (heres the link http://www.superiorhorns.com/truck-t...-horn-kit.html 3 trumpet kit with air tank/compressor) They were so large in fact, I had to mount them in my spare tire compartment. The install was ok, had to do a few mods with holes and running a lot of wires back and forth, definately a job for the weekend. Piece of advice, stay away from the el cheapo horns and spend some money and get something like these, also check your local laws. Where I live the law is 95 decibels within 20 ft of the vehicle, these put out 152! They actually sound like a train coming.

Question

How big of a diff does the intake mod (opening up the inside) make as far as hp? There has to be a post about it on here somewhere... I have someone willing to mill one out for me if I can find one at a junkyard.

Are you asking about the TB or doing a new intake manifold?

Lets see those air horns! I need to do something different on mine because my horns got ruined mudding. I was just going to get the big boy air horns, but maybe Ill spend a little more. Id like to get some chrome horns running horizontally behind my grille ....

Could you give a little explanation of how you wired it up to the stock system. I saw we have 2 stock horns; a high tone and low tone. How did you wire them up?
