Default About racing/times

Wish I had done this before doing any mods. I am thinking about taking my dak to edgewater racepark and seeing what my times are in the 1/4, does anyone know what there times are for the stock 3.7L? (4x4 extcab). I am going to do an efan next and want to see how much I gain.

Good info. Yep, my best run was 18.835 @ 74.47. (First time racing)

My wifes not happy, I think I got the fever to race now. I took Trophy Class tonight! (course, I was the only one!)

Throw up your time slip. I'm curious to see your 1/8, 60ft and reaction times.

The 3.7 liter v6 is rated at 210 horse power vice the 235 of the 4.7L. I would be interested in seeing the rest of your numbers.

Sorry for the newb question, but Ive never watched drag racing. Is the speed thats stated in the 1/4 mile time "18.835 @ 74.47" the speed that you cross the quarter mile mark at, or the average speed during the run?

That is your ET or "trap time." Once you stage a set of lights let you know you are properly lined up. When you get the green light you launch, a set of sensors marks the time you leave and record your progress down the track until you pass the final for your ET time. There is also a win light that indicates the first vehicle to reach the end of the 1/4
