Default Disabled Alarm

Newbie here, I had some transmission work done and after I got my truck back the remote key alarm system seemed to be disabled. The remote key locks do not work nor does my alarm.

Is there an on/off switch or some kind of plug that needs to be reconnected to get this stuff working again? Please advise!!!!!

It is the factory system. The key no longer works to lock or unlock the doors nor is the alarm working.

You might have to replace the battery inside the FOB key.

I did that already thinking the same thing. Still no luck. They must have disconnected it, and I have no idea where to find a way to reconnect it.

I would take it back, but I am living elsewhere and can not take it back to them.

I wonder if the key just became de-programmed. The dealers usually charge to program a key but I don't think they charge much, that might be your issue.
