Default Brake help - pics

Brakes started to squeal this weekend. Truck has 47k miles. I pulled the wheels, and the pads look to have some life left to them. Do I need to go ahead and replace? I see brakeperformance.com has a free upgrade to premium pads with the purchase of the premium rotors until 6pm tonight, July 5 so a quick answer would be much appreciated so I can take advantage of their offer if needed.

It won't hurt to get new ones but those pads still have alot of life in them.

Thanks guys, ordering now. Hopefully they will be here by the weekend. You never know, they may save my life one day. Premium dimple slotted black rotors with the premium semi-metallic pads.

No they are not necessary. They are put on at the factory and not reused. You will only see them on stock brakes, or people who put them back on thinking they should. It helps something on the assembly line, my best guess is that the rotors don't move around or fall off while moving down the line before the brakes are put on.

And what are the bedding procedures for these brakeperformance rotors? I don't see it listed on the website.
