Default Installing a Subwoofer

I'm attempting to install my sub in my 2007 Dodge Dakota ST but I can't seem to get through the firewall to run the power cable. Has anyone else run into this? How did you run your power cable?

Also, what's the easiest path to run the remote, and RCA cables from the head unit to the amp?

btw...i'm kind of new to car audio. I installed some stuff in my last vehicle but it wasn't installed properly. I want to do this one correctly.

Thanks,
Dan

I went through a grommet i found straight back from the battery and it popped in right behind the steering wheel. It was not fun to get to, you COULD go through the door jam, i considered it but my morals wouldnt allow it. Run the power down the drivers side, run the rca's and remote down the passenger. you dont want to run the power and rcas together because you might pick up noise. The remote doesnt have enough juice to do anything. Just pop off all the mouldings along the way and you will do fine

Default ?????

Is it the one that is directly back from the battery and right on top (behind a small fluid tank)? I didn't look what the fluid was but it's probably for the brakes, steering, or clutch. I tried to stick a long rod in it and I just can't find where it comes out.

I went out and looked and my directions were a little off. I guess i used the same one the throttle cable went through. Follow it off the throttle body and you will see where it goes through. I did it a while back and i remember it was awful. I tryed to snap a pic, but it was too dark to see anything
