Pulling The Heads
I remember I was trying to seal the vacuum leak being caused by my new TB and I snapped a bolt while tightening it. My heart just sank. Luckily the bolt snapped where I could get a pliers on it to pull it out.

When i look at that picture, all I see is a big air pump. dont focus on all the parts, focus on the way it works. I think the biggest "issues" is that people become overwhelmed by the amount of "stuff" and just over analyze what makes up a motor.
A motor is just a set of pistons, turning on a crank, sucking in air from the intake, compressing and igniting it, and blowing it out the exhaust. everything else just helps this function.

See Travis I'm not the only one, lol. Jerry, that is my philosophy exactly.
but this photo is of a V6 that sits sideways.. a V8 its easier to understand then smaller v6s and v4s are just smaller, less cylinders. an engine is quite easy to understand. its the little functions that need to be in the right place to run CORRECTLY and Right. lol
