Making your own Intake... Couple of questions...

Default Making your own Intake... Couple of questions...

The breather tube thingy that runs into the stock air box, what do you do with it?

And the IAT sensor, do you just drill a hole in the ABS tube and "bond" it with some RTV?

Are you talking about the vent tube that hooks to the intake?

For the IAT Sensor that's what most of the homebrew guys do. Or just use an appropriate sized grommet.

this is what i uesd for the valve cover vent, got it on ebay for about $5

Thats the quick fix for sure Or just make a fitting on the intake tube...

all that is is a crankcase breather tube, right? Older cars used to just vent that to atmosphere, but pollution controlled cars have it going to the intake so the blowby gasses are burned. You can either put a vent cap like dodgetrucker or make a fitting on the intake tube to connect it to like lghtngblt says...
