Default Expanded Aluminum Grill - Pics

I know there have already been how to threads on this, but they all used gutter guard. I wanted to be different and i was in the picture taking mood so here you go.

This is what i used, 1/2" flattened expanded aluminum

Same steps as the other guides on disassembly, Here are some rough cuts to fit it

Here is the frame on the louvered oem piece. On a sidenote i heard people using razor blades to cut them out. I did one and pulled out the dremmel and it worked awesome

It took some TLC and some swearing, but i got everything snapped back into place. I didnt used any silicon or anything. They are TIGHT and i dont think they are gonna budge.

Looks good. When I used to have chrome I used that exact material as an insert for my hood scoop.

I see you went and got a better camera! lol... Looks great. Cant wait to see some nice pictures of your truck. I really dig those fender flares and hood.

lol, same camera different light. Its kind of a piece. It has good an bad days. For some reason when i take pictures outside they end up blue

Great job. I would say you could do your bumper valance also but you have tow hooks.

i considered taking off the tow hooks, but I have used them quite a few times...

Love the look. Now a little off topic, how do you like that hood?? Notice any improvement (performance wise) since you got it? They make them here in NC and I have been thinking about getting one.
